People are starting to take action,as individuals and collectively as shown by the Kyoto Protocol. More people are
aware of the problem than a year ago,and many more than a decade ago. It's true there are still people around who refuse to believe there's a problem,for a variety of reasons-I call them ostriches,they have their heads in the
sand. The biggest one of all is G.W. Bush,and once his Administration is out maybe we can actually start making real progress on solving this problem.
The situation is bad,but I for one find myself growing increasingly hopeful.
